Red Deer April 24 - 25

Jurassic would have a new face behind the wheel as our permanent new driver took the controls of jurassic Attack for the first time and put Jurassic Attack through its paces and doing a great job in the wheele contest and also making it through several rounds to face Bounty Hunter in the final. It was a strange foremat as Bounty Hunter was given the bye all the way to the final and with out racing a truck all night still got lane choice. It was a close race and Bounty Hunter got the win. Freestyle was great with all 6 trucks putting in great performances. No winner was declared to the crowd as is normal at monster spectaculars. The are kept secret till the tour is over.

Sat was also a great show with some very wild runs in all three events. Rock Star got the wheelie win for the second night in a row. Jurassic also did very well and the new driver had it more vertical than Jurassic had seen in some time. Racing would be a all 2extreme final with Joe Miller taking the win in iron Outlaw.

Freestyle was crazy as everyone went out and gave the fans what they wanted, Allot of wild action. We highly recommend everyone searches youtube for Rock Stars wild winning run.

Here are a few photos of the wild weekend and the first photos of Jurassic Attacks next winning driver GARY SCHOTT JR.

Gary has stated that he is very excited to be selected as the next driver for Jurassic Attack and is committed to putting it in the winners circle and taking its popularity to the next level.

He also commented on how surprisingly quick it corners and how impressive the suspension worked. I can't wait to get a little more seat time and get it outdoors and let it fly.

We look foreword to running both trucks in Regina Sask. this weekend at the motor spectacular.

April 17-18

The Jurassic Attack and Maniac monster trucks were running strong with Russ Steele behind the wheel of Maniac and for the first time in about 6 years Don Frankish was running Jurassic Attack.

Friday would see both trucks doing well in the wheelie contest and Racing with Jurassic ending up in the final.

Maniac had issues and was not able to freestyle. Jurassic also had another great run.

Saturday would see Jurassic winning the wheele contest, Maniac winning the racing over Jurassic Attack and Jurassic Attack winning the Freestyle.

The next few days caused some issues for the team as the rig broke down in reno and would not allow us to deal with issues on Maniac, Red deer was going to be a one man show with the team owner playing crew.

It is with allot of regret and disappointment that we are announcing Kristy Edge has left Frankish Enterprises. Good bye Kristy.

With bad news comes good news as change is always good. When faced with  urgent issues you find out who your friends are and who has got your back.  So, starting off is Russ Steele ( former Iron Outlaw driver ) and Kevin Weenk ( The original Jurassic Attack driver ) hopping in the driver's seats to fill in a couple of shows starting April 17 - 18 in Chico, CA. and Red Deer, AB.

As word got out that one of the most popular privately owned trucks in North America was needing a driver there was suddenly a quick list of experienced drivers wanting a shot at the truck that produced winning drivers like Linsey and Nathan Weenk. We have decided on our next driver and like all of our past drivers this young gun has a huge desire to race and win. The only difference this time is he already has a few years of driving experience. There will be some hints in Chico as to who will take over Jurassic Attack but we are confirming some paperwork before announcing his name.

Other changes coming soon are a new website along with a new Look for both Jurassic Attack and Maniac.

The team has had an incredibly busy summer, with Don and Kristy running all over, putting on some memorable performances. Our good friends at Adrenaline Junkies have put together an awesome highlight video of some our summer shows, which can now be seen below. Thanks to those guys for the great work. The vid can also be seen in our Videos section, along with some footage from this past weekend's Lynden, WA Northwest County Fair show and last weekend's Clark County Fair event. Expect a huge "Tales From The Tour" article in the near future that brings you up to date on everything we've been doing. Check out our updated Schedule as well. Thanks to all our fans and sponsors for your continued support!

We are very proud to announce that Jurassic Attack driver Kristy Edge was named the 2008 Monster Jam Rookie of the Year, and that Maniac driver Don Frankish was awarded the Best Save of the Year award for last fall's wild ride in Cardiff, UK. The awards were a great honor for the team and we are very proud of our accomplishments this year on the Monster Jam tour.

On another note, our latest news is the discontinuation of SPITZ Sunflower seeds as our primary sponsor for 2008. The company has chosen to venture into different types of advertising that should still have a impact on there target markets. We are very proud of what we have accomplished with them over the past seven years as it was one of the most successful monster truck sponsorships for a private team and easily the biggest ever in Canada. We wish them luck with all their future ventures.
We have updated our Schedule with dates through the fall, and we have recaped all of our events since our last update in our "Tales of the Tour" feature in the Results section. Stay tuned for more updates!!
